McKeans, Adkins Busted For Meth

Female Suspect Is Five Months Pregnant, Police Say

Three Putnam County residents took a trip to jail after the West Virginia State Police busted them on methamphetamine charges, records state.

Bryan Thomas McKean, 38, his cousin, Roy Dale McKean, 37. and Mary Nicole Adkins, 35, all of 1111 Poplar Drive, in rural Scott Depot, were arrested Thursday afternoon, April 14th, 2011, jail records state.

According to WVSP Sergeant Larry O'Brien, Bryan McKean was caught in the act of cooking meth when the troopers walked into the home.

Adkins is reportedly five months pregnant.

After their arrests, the trio was transported to the Western Regional Jail and Correctional Facility, in Barboursville. Officials booked and photographed them at 7:15 p.m., according to the jail's web site.

During a hearing, Putnam County Chief Magistrate Kylene Dunlap-Brown set bond for each suspect at $75,000, jail records state.

Bryan McKean's Putnam County Magistrate Court case numbers are: 11F, 160-162

Roy McKean's Putnam County Magistrate Court case numbers are: 11F, 157-159.

Adkin's temporary Putnam County Magistrate Court case number is: 11F.
