Salvation Army Raising Funds At Scott Depot Kroger
It's a familiar sight-during the holiday
season, the thousands of Salvation Army's bell ringers outside of America's supermarkets raising money to support the church's many vital ministries.
But during the summer?
Obviously the Salvation Army helps people throughout the year. Including during the summer.
In Putnam County, the Salvation Army operates Camp Happy Valley, in the Scott Depot area.

Saturday, June 23rd, 2012, a pair of bell ringers were outside of the Scott Depot Kroger raising money for camp scholarships as part of Salvation Army's "Kettles for Camp" campaign.
PutnamLIVE.com's camera and publisher were there to capture this image.
If you missed the bell ringer, you can always telephone the Salvation Army to make a donation or click on its Charleston area web site at: http://www.uss.salvationarmy.org/uss/www_uss_charleston_wv.nsf.
