Held In Western Regional Jail Pending Bond
A Putnam County man took a trip to jail, Saturday, after his arrest on a misdemeanor violent crime charge, jail records state.
David Wayne Reedy, 40, of Plantation Drive, Nitro, was arrested June 30th 2012 by Officer P.A. Jarrell of the Nitro Police Department.
According to court records, Reedy is charged with Domestic Battery.
Jarrell reports that he met with the alleged victim who stated that Reedy pushed her and choked her around the neck. In a criminal complaint filed in Putnam County Magistrate Court, Jarrell says he observed a large bruise on the woman's left shoulder. He also says there were holes in the drywall of the home where Reedy allegedly punched the walls.

After his arrest, Reedy was transported to the Western Regional Jail and Correctional Facility, in Barboursville. Officials booked and photographed him at 10:40 p.m., according to the jail's web site.
During a hearing, Reedy's bond was set, at $5,000, by Putnam County Magistrate Linda J. Hunt, jail records state.
Reedy's Putnam County Magistrate Court case number is: 12M, 1237.
