Held In Western Regional Jail Pending Bond
A Putnam County man took a trip to jail, Monday, after his arrest on a misdemeanor theft charge, jail records state.
Cody Lee Burks, of Harbor Lane, Hurricane, was arrested October 15th, 2012, by Officer R.E. Poe of the Hurricane Police Department.
According to jail records, Burks is charged with Petit Larceny.
He is accused of stealing a cell phone, according to a criminal complaint filed in Putnam County Magistrate Court.
After his arrest, Burks was transported to the Western Regional Jail and Correctional Facility, in Barboursville. Officials booked and photographed him at 5:15 p.m., according to the jail's web site.
During a hearing, Burks' bond was set, at $1,000, by a Putnam County Magistrate, jail records state.
Putnam County Magistrate Court case number is: 12M, 1905.
