Admitted To Snorting And Injecting Bath Salts
A Putnam County man took a trip to jail, Monday, after his sentencing for a misdemeanor conviction, jail records state.
Joshua Wooten, 21, pf Lakeview Drive, Winfield, was admitted to the Western Regional Jail and Correctional Facility, in Barboursville, August 1st, 2011. Officials booked and photographed him at 12:10 p.m., according to the jail's web site.
During a hearing before Putnam County Magistrate Kimberly M. Blair-Caruthers, Wooten was sentenced to 90 days in jail for a probation violation, jail records state.
Wooten tested positive for methamphetamine, and voluntary admitted to snorting and injecting bath salts, according to Putnam County Probation Officer D.R. Layton, Putnam County Magistrate Court records state.
On October 3rd, 2010, Wooten was convicted of possession of Oxycodone, for a May 11th, 2010 crime, in Poca, according to Putnam County Magistrate Court records. Wooten was sentenced to one year of unsupervised probation, by Blair-Caruthers.
