

Charged WIth Violating His Home Confinement

A Putnam County man took a return trip to jail, Wednesday after his arrest for allegedly violating a term of his home confinement, jail records
Stephen Michael Stone state.
Stephen Michael Stone, 36, of Lake Drive, Hurricane, was admitted to the Western Regional Jail and Correctional Facility, October 26th, 2011. Officials booked and photographed him at 11:35 p.m., according to the jail's web site.
The Notice to Hold was signed by West Virginia Probation Officer Ryan Muth, jail records state. When PutnamLIVE.com telephoned Muth's office to learn what term of probation that Stone is accused of violating, Muth denied having anything to do with the case. The staff of the circuit court could not produce the Notice to Hold.
According to court records, Stone pleaded guilty to the felony offense of counterfeiting and was sentenced to a term of two years home confinement by Putnam Circuit Judge Phillip M. Stowers.
Putnam County Magistrate Court case number is: 11F, 39.
Stone is no stranger to jail. On June 3rd, 2011, he was busted for Domestic Battery by Hurricane Police Officer Poe.
